Excursion in Morocco :The waterfalls Ouzoud

Born from the convergence of several streams, Ouzoud rushed over 100 m high at the bottom of a pit lined with green calcareous concretions and creepers. The mist escaping from the projection of water on the rocks creates a rainbow almost constant. The roar of the waterfall bubbling water at the bottom of the "potholes" hollow by erosion, the exuberance of vegetation, all combine to compose a romantic and mesmerizing spectacle.

A dirt trail in places notch steps lets go down along the cascade, over the past: pot into which flows the stream. In ascending the river, we find flour mills arranged in small rectangular mud houses. The millstones powered by water power grind grain. In the carob that shade this site macaque monkeys frolic in the beige coat and dark-ringed eyes.
